How we handle your data
This page explains what happens to the information you send through the forms on this website, in line with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018, LGPD).
What we collect
Booking request: name, phone or WhatsApp, e-mail (optional), date, time, number of guests and any notes you write.
Contact message: name, e-mail, phone (optional), subject and message.
Waiting list at the restaurant: name, WhatsApp, number of guests and, if you tell us, priority (children, elderly, pregnancy or disability), only to let you know when your table is ready.
To protect the forms against automated submissions, we record a code derived from the sender’s IP address (generated with a secret server key; the IP itself is not stored) and use Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot verification service.
The map on the page is provided by Google Maps and loaded from Google when you reach that part of the site.
The website only uses technical cookies: a session cookie that protects the forms, and one that records that your browser has already received the current version of the site. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. To understand how people reach the site (for example, through Google or Instagram) and from which country, we count visits by source, without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you.
How we use it
To reply to your request or message and, for reservations with an e-mail address, to send the confirmation (with a calendar invitation and a cancellation link), a reminder on the day and, after your visit, a single invitation to review the restaurant. We do not sell it, share it for advertising or send marketing.
How long we keep it
Requests and messages are kept as part of the restaurant’s service history until you ask for them to be deleted. Technical anti-bot records are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You may ask at any time to see, correct or delete your data by writing to contato@benedaflauta.com.br. When deleting, we keep only the booking date, time and number of guests, with nothing that identifies you.
